Summary:
Seventeen-year-old Juliette is dangerous. When she touches people, they die, and so she has been locked up in an asylum. A strangely familiar boy named Adam becomes Juliette’s cellmate, and she later learns that he is a soldier for the Reestablishment, which is the government in power. They have decided that Juliette doesn’t belong in a cell after all—they have use for her as a weapon.
