The Maze Runner was released on September 19, 2014, directed by Wes Ball and starring Dylan O’Brien and Kaya Scoldelario. The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials is scheduled to come out in September 2015.
Summary:
One day, Thomas wakes up in an elevator without any memory of who he is or how he got there. All he knows is that his name is Thomas. When the elevator opens, Thomas finds himself in a place called the Glade, which is enclosed by a maze. In the Glade are other teenage boys who, like Thomas, arrived there without their memories. They have been trying to solve the maze for two years. Everything changes when the next person to show up—who is the first girl in the Glade– brings a message that says, “This is the last one EVER.”
